What a preparatory programme is
Most bachelor's programmes at Spanish public universities are taught in Spanish, and many universities ask for proof of language level, often an official certificate such as the DELE or the SIELE. A preparatory programme combines intensive language study with academic preparation, and some programmes also prepare students for the university entrance tests. It also gives you time to settle into life in Spain before your degree begins.
