Levels of vocational training
- Basic level (Grado Básico).
- Intermediate level (Grado Medio): usually requires the ESO certificate or an equivalent.
- Higher level (Grado Superior): usually requires the Bachillerato or an equivalent and opens the way to university.
Most intermediate and higher programmes last two years and combine classroom study with practical training in companies, in fields such as business administration, IT, health, tourism and hospitality, and industry.
Students coming from abroad
You usually need to have your school certificate homologated in Spain or pass the entrance test organised by each region. Full-time study at an authorised school can be the basis for a student visa application.
